Maria Isabel Zambrano Cusme and Family
The house where they lived was very unstable after the earthquake a few years ago, so now they live in a room that is being lent to them. Maria has had to leave her belongings in her house since the space is very small. Carlos´mom left him to the care of his grandmother, Maria, because his mom has another child with a disability. Carlos has been living with his grandmother for a long time. His mom uses the assistance from the government (they give it to them because of his disability) and she spends it on buying diapers and to travel to Portoviejo to the Doctor's appointment (they can´t go by bus because of Carlos´situation).
Maria´s son helps them as he can, but he has five sons and not many resources.
